We’ve been through quite the week, haven’t we?
If your mind has been racing constantly like mine, can I offer a suggestion for a new companion?
I was really excited to find Barbara Rainey’s newest book in my mailbox yesterday. Barbara never writes a book unless directed to do so by the Holy Spirit. And these prayers for women are online any I’ve ever read.
These prayers aren’t just words strung together with feminine pronouns. No, you can tell the 40 prayers in this book were actually inspired by and prayed over real women in Barbara’s life. These prayers are raw, real and reflective. As I read them, I found myself identifying with the words and then tweaking them to relate to my specific needs.
