Watch this before submitting your planDisney panel application:

I was chosen as a Disney Cruise Line specialist for the 2025 planDisney panel. After applying for 14 years, the glass slipper finally fit!

In the video, I share some of the lessons I learned over the years, go over what to expect in each round, and reveal what finally clicked the year I was chosen to join the panel.

Are planDisney Panelists paid?

Panelists are not paid for their participation, but they are compensated with reward and training trips. Panelists serve for 12 months and are expected to complete about 15-20 questions per week (as of the time this was filmed).

I was so blessed that our 2025 class training trip took place on the Disney Wish (in November of 2024).

My Top 7 planDisney Panel Application Tips

The advice you’ll hear more often then not from panelists is to just be yourself. It sounds cliché, but it’s so true! Many people have a passion for Disney and a wealth of Disney knowledge, but there’s only one YOU.

Here are some of the best planDisney application tips I’ve learned over the years:

  1. Be yourself
  2. Don’t repeat answers from previous years
  3. What you say needs to be accurate, but it shouldn’t sound like it’s on the website
  4. Don’t try to be everything to everyone (aka don’t try to fit every one of your tips in every answer)
  5. Pretend you’re talking to a friend in a coffee shop
  6. Look at the different angles of each trip you’ve taken
  7. Read your answers out loud before submitting

The panel is a puzzle, and you’re just one piece. Just because the glass slipper doesn’t fit this year doesn’t mean it won’t the next!
