We have become so self-centered that we go to God only for something from Him & not for God Himself ~ Oswald Chambers

I’m going to keep things brief today because sickness has hit our household. My husband hasn’t felt well since I was in Orlando and this afternoon I got the call to come pick up my son because he had a fever and threw up.

Thankfully, I saved our chicken carcass from dinner last night, so I had everything I needed to make my absolute favorite chicken soup (I swear – not only is it the most delicious recipe I’ve ever tried, I think it will cure whatever ails you).

I got it from Julia Turshen’s cookbook, “Small Victories”, and it’s just one of many, many yummy offerings (and I love all her tips scattered throughout). You can find it on Amazon here AND the Kindle version is only $2.40 right now! (affiliate link):

Please pray for healing for our family and so many friends who are sick.
