July 6, 2015: Taking a Vacation

Thought a vacation was out of reach for your family this summer? Hopefully you’ll be thinking differently after you hear what I have to say today…

A vacation can get expensive quickly, but I still believe they’re a great thing for a family to do every once in awhile. Not only does it give you the chance to break out of your everyday norm, it gives you and the kids something to look forward to and work towards.

Now here’s the kicker – I’m not necessarily talking about flying off somewhere exotic for a week. Sometimes it just takes going somewhere within a few hours driving distance and spending 2-3 nights away. This is also a great way to reward the whole family’s diligence if you’re working on paying off your debts.
