In today’s Daily Dash video, December 29 2014, I’m re-reading a book in preparation for the New Year, sharing a new look, and catching you up on the news from the weekend…

The Daily Dash: December 29 2014 {Today Matters}

IN THE NEWS:
* AirAsia passenger jet goes missing
* Greek passenger ferry burning off coast of Italy; dozens still trapped
* “Black Monday” for NFL coaches
* George H.W. Bush still in hospital; Little Jimmy Dickens in critical condition

IN MY LIFE:
* LOVING: Re-reading “Today Matters” by John C. Maxwell in preparation for the New Year.

* LEARNING: From Today Matters, I’m reminded of the importance of DECISIONS & DISCIPLINE…and that CHARACTER & PERSEVERANCE determine what happens after the decision is made. Two other quotes I took out of today’s reading:
Be the change you want to see in the world – Ghandi
To which Maxwell responds with, “Become a model of change yourself”

* DOING: Colored my hair from a box this weekend to even out the color in between visits to the salon. Also saw “Annie” this weekend; wasn’t a fan of the beginning of the movie, didn’t believe Cameron Diaz as Ms. Hannigan, but really enjoyed the original songs that they added to the film. Also spent some time this weekend to Meal Plan for the first two weeks of January.
