A new day, a new week, a new month…

The Daily Dash: February 1 2016 {New Month}

* Iowa caucus day
* Djokovic beats Murray for Australian open title; Kerber upsets Williams for the women’s title
* Screen Actors Guild awards on Saturday celebrated diversity
* Secret documents found in Clinton’s personal emails

* I feel like the 12 days of Christmas today: 3 radio interviews, 2 student webinars and 1 volunteer phone call. Today will be a busy one for me, so I’m working hard to stay present in the moment and not get overwhelmed with what’s ahead.

We had a GORGEOUS weekend here in Nashville, with temperatures reaching almost 70 degrees. So while last weekend we were playing in the snow, this weekend we were eating lunch outside, playing tennis and doing some cleaning.

My daughter and I also attended the Secret Keeper Girl event and even though it was marketed as a tween event (8-12), I’d say it was really targeted more towards 7-8 year olds/3rd-4th graders.

Another way you can help is by helping to spread the word (by word of mouth and social media). I have several sample tweets, FB messages and images like the one below for you to share at
