In today’s Daily Dash video, February 20 2015, to be honest, I’ve enjoyed this snow week for the most part, but I started feeling anxious last night – like I haven’t gotten enough done or that I’ve spent too much time in front of a screen or looking at other people’s lives, so today I’m doing something different…

The Daily Dash: February 20 2015 {Be Still and Know}

* Record cold embraces the country again
* Latest Snowden leak details government hacking
* Parks & Rec writer/actor dies at age 30
* Oscars happen on Sunday

*Loving: Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Diamond Edition has been released and it’s the first time you can get it on Blu-ray & Digital HD! I can’t tell you how many times our family still quotes from this movie – seriously. Whenever my kids say they’re hungry, I look at them and quote Roly, “I’m hungry mother…I really am!” And guess what? I’m GIVING AWAY A COPY HERE!

*Learning: As I mentioned above, I feel like I’ve ‘busied’ myself this week without accomplishing a whole lot…I mean I’ve started a lot of things, but don’t have a lot to show for it. So last night, I felt like God was telling me to quiet myself to make space for him to speak, so I’m trying to live out Psalm 46:10 today: “Be still and know that I am God”

*Doing: I’ve already listened to a John Maxwell sermon archive from Christ Fellowship, done Pilates, and worked on rebus puzzles with the kids. Our new washing machine is being delivered today, so hopefully that means I’ll get to do laundry again soon! My husband is also slated to return today, so we’re looking forward to a true Family Fun Night later today.
