Well, today’s the day: Dollywood opens for it’s 2018 season and it’s kicking off with the festival of nations. I’ve got a lot of tips on my blog and social media, so make sure to follow along with all the fun today.
I’ll admit, I’m a little torn because two of my favorite basketball teams are playing in the NCAA tournament first round: Lipscomb University, where I teach, is playing against my masters’ alma mater, and defending national champions, the UNC Tar Heels. Time will tell who will win, but I have a feeling I may be wearing Carolina blue a little longer than I will be wearing purple this March.
