In today’s Daily Dash video, May 21 2015, though summer hasn’t officially started yet, it’s the first day of summer break in the Cone Home and we’re kicking it off with some sleepover fun

The Daily Dash: May 22 2015 {Sleepover Fun}

IN THE NEWS:
* Irish voters head to the polls over gay marriage
* Santa Barbara oil spill clean up continues
* Baltimore Grand Jury indicts 6 officers in Freddie Gray death

IN MY LIFE:
* Did you check out the pictures of our van on Instagram yesterday? Last year we went to pick up our kids from the last day of school and found a plethora of parents had decked out their automobiles with balloons, chalk paint and streamers. So guess who was first in line this year? Even though our kids have been riding the bus, we picked them and their friends up in our decked out minivan and it was quite the rage. In fact, not only did we take them all to a hibachi lunch, but the twins spent the night and are kicking off their summer break together this morning.

I, on the other hand, am trying to get back on the working track with my duties at Thomas Nelson & FaithGateway this morning, before picking up the carnage in our house. Not exactly sure what all we’ll be doing this weekend, but you can be sure I will update you on Monday 🙂
