In today’s Daily Dash video, May 27 2015, amidst major news, I have to share what our entire family enjoyed last night

The Daily Dash: May 27 2015 {@Newsies at @TPAC Praise}

* Flooding continues in TX & OK – death toll rises to 19
* FIFA officials arrested amidst corruption scandal

* Last night we saw Newsies the Musical at TPAC and were blown away for several reasons:
* First of all, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a more energetic performance in my life! Aside from feeling incredibly out of shape watching these guys, we were all impressed by their ability to dance, act and sing.
* Second of all, the cast was primarily composed of young men. To see these guys flip, turn, leap and dance across the stage I’m sure gave people a new impression of art and athleticism.
* Finally, while this show was appropriate for kids, it was by no means only for kids. It’s rare to find a musical today that you feel good bringing your family to, but enjoy it equally as an adult.

Oh, and did I mention they had AMAZINGLY cool merch? I can’t tell you the last time we bought something at a show, but we couldn’t pass up the Newsies hat for our son and Newsies bag that was only an extra $5 with purchase.

Newsies will be at TPAC here in Nashville all week, but hurry & get your tickets before they sell out!

TPAC provided tickets for our family to attend the show, but I was not required to write this review – all enthusiasm is completely my own 🙂
