IN MY LIFE:
Even though my son’s school tennis season is done, he and nine of his teammates are participating in a fall USTA Junior Team Tennis league. And guess who volunteered to captain them? Yup…me.
With that comes the need for more practice, so guess who’s also volunteered to run some team practices? You guessed it again.
As much as I feel like I don’t have time for such things, I’m also ever aware that I have limited years left where I will have the privilege to pour into my kids lives in this way – and maybe even fewer left for when they will WANT me to help them in this way ?
So if you need me, I’ll be on the courts…
