I get to be a tourist in my home town today…

Tourist In My Hometown {The Daily Dash: March 8, 2019}

IN THE NEWS:

* Manafort receives lenient 4 year sentence
* Cohen sues Trump Organization for $1.7 million in legal fees
* House overwhelmingly passes anti-hate resolution
* International Women’s Day

IN THE WORD:

The institutional church’s idea of a servant of God is not at all like Jesus Christ’s idea ~ Oswald Chambers

IN MY LIFE:

Even though it’s a rainy day here in Nashville, I get to play tourist a little bit. I’ll be joining many of my influencer friends at Opryland Resort tomorrow for the latest FLOCK Presents social media one-day conference, but today we’re taking over Broadway. We’ll be making stops at The Ryman, Martin’s BBQ, Goo Goo Clusters, The Country Music Hall of Fame and Hatch Show Print, just to name a few.

Do you work online (or wish you did)? I can’t recommend these practical intensives enough. Check out FlockPresents.com to discover where there upcoming events are (they go all around the country). And make sure to use the code FLOCKWITHSAMI to save $25!

One update on my family: my son finally gets to go back to school today! Not only that, he’s being inducted into the National Junior Honor Society this afternoon. We’re so grateful of all the opportunities our kids have and how they’re working to continue to maximize their potential.

PRAYER FOCUS: Wonder
I pray a sense of wonder over each of us today – may we look at old things in new ways.

Stay in the know on the go:
