Melt in Your Mouth Waffle Recipe

On the July 2020 episode of The Sami Cone Show, Kirbee started her Celebration Brunch Board with her Melt in Your Mouth Waffle Recipe, which she graciously shared with us in the image below:

One of the keys Kirbee mentioned was sifting all your dry ingredients together before adding in your wet ingredients. She also suggests cracking your eggs one at a time into a separate bowl so that one bad egg doesn’t ruin the whole batch.

And because this is a celebration, you’ll notice heavy whipping cream in the recipe instead of milk. That being said, if you want to substitute regular milk or even almond milk, that works too.

Assembling Your Brunch Board

Once you have your waffles made, go ahead and put them on whatever board you have. (Kirbee loves a good wooden butcher block). Start by placing your waffles and/or pancakes in a line across the center. Then place several small glass bowls on the board and fill them with your family’s favorite proteins and fruit.

Don’t forget to include your favorite breakfast condiments like warm syrup, jam, butter slices, nut butter, Nutella or even whip cream.

She even suggested allowing kids to create fruit skewers to place around the board. Come back to watch our entire segment from the show and draw inspiration from the photo below:
