We all know there have been a number of players in the internet phone service game promising cheaper home phone plans: Magic Jack, Skype, Ooma & Vonage are just a few that have dominated that market lately. However, it looks like there’s a new (veteran) in the game again: Google Voice!
That’s right, Google has added a free e-mail feature that allows Gmail users in the US to make free calls from their computers to telephones almost anywhere in the world! It looks like all calls in the US & Canada will remain free at least throughout 2010.
If you don’t have a Gmail account….why not? It’s free and now there’s one more reason to take advantage of their amazing services!
