Even though there is a new Chili’s Kids Eat Free coupon for Monday-Wednesday this week (October 29-31, 2012), I don’t think you should use it.

We’ve always LOVED Chili’s…it’s where Ricky and I ate every week before our Prep for Marriage class when we were engaged, we love their chips & salsa and lately I’ve appreciated that they have a separate gluten free menu.

But we simply cannot tolerate the incredibly bad service we’ve received at multiple Chili’s Nashville locations.

Over the past year, I can honestly say we have not had one single positive service experience at Chili’s!

Our food has come out undercooked, we’ve sat for over 15 minutes before having a server come to us, servers have completely ignored the fact they’re at work at said very offensive and vulgar things our kids have overheard and during our most recent trip last month, our server took our order and then forgot about us for an hour! When we finally got a manager to our table, he started making excuses that they got busy, the server had to cover the to-go area and that he’d comp our kids’ meals for us….when we already had a coupon for free kids’ meals!

AGHHHH!

So I’m sorry, Chili’s, the Cones will not be darkening your doors anymore. We’ve had a lot of good times, made a lot of memories, colored a lot of peppers for charity and eaten a lot of chips….

…but if you don’t care enough about giving great service while delivering consistent food quality, then I can think of other restaurants that do those basic things willingly that would be happy to have our business!

While I won’t be offering you any Chili’s kids eat free coupons anymore, I do have plenty of other restaurant deals you can check out with your family!
