Sami Says: How to Transition Wardrobes from Summer to Fall

Meg from Nashville asked, “How do I transition my wardrobe from summer to fall without breaking the bank?”

That’s a great question, Meg, especially since the temperatures don’t seem to realize it’s Fall! Here are a few tips to help:
1. Layer, layer, layer: keep your favorite graphic tees handy and pair them with a great moto jacket or cardigan so you’re ready for those 30-degree temperature swings we so often find in Nashville.
2. Plan to update at least two pieces in your wardrobe: one staple (like a great pair of jeans or riding boots) and one trend (like booties in an animal print). Both should be things you can wear in multiple ways with multiple outfits.
3. To help finance any other wardrobe updates, sell off a few things on a site like eBay or consider having a garage sale.

Sami’s Savings Tip: Combine Business & Pleasure Travel

After having two conferences in Disney Parks in the past two months, I’ve discovered the incredible savings you can take advantage of when you’re there on business. Not only do you get hotel discounts, but you can also get specially priced theme park tickets too. Why not consider bringing your family along on your next business trip (or having them meet you at the tail end of the trip) to maximize your savings AND enjoyment?

Before I Go, I Need You to Know: You were made for this moment!

You are beautiful, capable and more ready for this moment than ever before. Do not let this moment escape you – the opportunity to not only make a difference in the life os someone else, but in the trajectory of your own life.

I pray God gives you the power of belief in a way you’ve never felt before.
