Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary

Why You Believe What You Believe
I talked with popular podcast host Jill Parr-Hardin of Daily Audio Bible about the importance of knowing why you believe what you believe…and why it’s always so important to ask questions about your faith.
Before I Go, I Need You to Know: Start Your Day the Right Way
We’ve talked a lot today about how small decisions can make a big difference in your life. So whether your new year’s resolutions are already in the rear-view mirror or you never set them in the first place, it doesn’t matter because you can START FRESH TODAY.
If you’re not sure where to start, remember the wise words we heard earlier in the show: set non-negotiables for your daily routine vs. one big resolution.
And if you’re not sure WHEN to start, I urge you to start tomorrow morning. Every morning is a fresh start… a new opportunity.
That being said, do as much as you can before you “START” your day to MAKE it the day you want it to be:
- Don’t wait until after work or school to walk or exercise.
- Get outside. Look up at the sun.
- Take 5 minutes to breathe deeply and stretch.
- Write down what you want your day to look like OR
- Say a prayer or send a quick text of encouragement.
You have no idea the impact it can have when you tell your time how to work for you instead of the other way around.

Wardrobe Sponsor: Lilly Pulitzer
After wearing a lot of brights lately, I wanted to keep things simple and neutral for the new year. (Most people don’t realize Lilly Pulitzer does more than just prints).
Even though I found some beautiful jewel tones at Lilly Pulitzer of Green Hills (especially in Maldives Green -the turquoise family), as soon as I found the silk joggers, I knew I had to have them.
I paired the 29″ Julissa Stretch Pants in Onyx with a classic: my favorite Elsa top. I also decided to wear a vest from last season and some black heels.

Jewelry Provided by Kendra Scott
I wasn’t full sure what I was wearing on the show when I went to pick out my jewelry this month. However, I did know I was keeping it simple and neutral. I also knew I had a special occasion coming up soon…so the stylists suggested I pick something from their bridal collection.
I love that these pieces look equally appropriate with both a bridal gown and silk joggers. Here are quick links to the Kendra Scott jewelry I wore on the January show:
