IN MY LIFE:
What can I say? Today’s the day my baby boy turns 13 (and please don’t tell him I called him that! ? )
I got up at 5am to make him his favorite birthday treats, homemade pop tarts, so now I’m feeling the fatigue…but it’s all worth it.
Tonight he’s performing in his first school play, Lion King Jr, as a giraffe (and he even gets to wear stilts – which is why he auditioned for that role!).
I’ve always said B is our “sweet boy” and it’s hard for me to admit he’s growing up. As much as I love seeing who he is becoming, I lament my baby boy I used to be able to cuddle whenever I wanted.
I can’t tell you much more about what we have planned just yet, but I would appreciate you saying a prayer for Britton today: that he continues to grow into the young man God has called him to be. Thanks friends!
