Be a Reading Rock Star with Nashville Public Library During Summer Challenge
Nashville Public Library is back to challenge Nashvillians to read, learn and unleash their inner rock star this summer with the 2018 Summer Challenge! Participants can register at any NPL location or online starting May 14.
We have a citywide goal of reading 10 million minutes, and Nashvillians of all ages are joining to meet the challenge!
Here’s how to participate:
  1. Sign up online or at your local library starting May 14
  2. Read at least 600 minutes and complete learning activities to earn prizes
  3. Claim prizes at your local library branch (while supplies last)
Prizes include coupons to free entry at area attractions, such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Adventure Science Center, as well as freebies at local restaurants and businesses. Completing the program also earns registrants entries into drawings for other prizes such as gift cards, gadgets, and memberships to local museums. The more you read, the more entries you’ll earn in the drawings––and the more likely you are to win!
