Forgive me, but I need to have a proud friend moment today. The insanely sweet and talented Christa Wells is releasing her newest album, Velveteen, and ALL of you need to get it on iTunes today.
I’m not even going to begin to describe or review it, because her sound is so unique and her talent for songwriting is prolific. Let it suffice to say that her melodies are hauntingly beautiful and she transcends genre. While the title track will stick with you, I dare say everyone in today’s society and climate needs to listen to the first track, “Down Down Low”.
