The Daily Dash: December 18 2015 {Last Day of School & #StarWars}

IN THE NEWS:
* Mother Teresa to be named a Saint
* San Bernadino shooter’s friend may have been involved in plot
* Star Wars earns $50 million in first night

IN MY LIFE:
* The kids only have a half day of school today and then its Christmas break! We’re surprising them by taking them to see Star Wars after school and joining in everyone else in the world that’s doing the same thing.

I have to admit – it’s a bit surreal for me to see Harrison Ford on all the coverage because just two months ago we were passing each other in the hallway of the hospital in Santa Monica day after day. It’s just a testament that life has to go on and we only have one life to live.

How many of you are planning to see Star Wars this weekend?
