Keep your life so constantly in touch with God that His surprising power can break through at any point – Oswald Chambers

Now that we’re homeschooling, we have the a little more flexibility in our schedule. One reason I was OK taking on the challenge this term was to allow our daughter, in particular, to take the time she needed to tour different schools in an effort to find the best high school for her. We toured one school last week, another today and yet another on Friday.

While we all have an idea of where the best fit is, I want my kids to be able to iterate WHY the choice is best and experience other environments as well. I don’t want to raise robots, and if our kids are only staying in one lane their whole lives, they’ll never be able to contribute to their communities in the way I believe God designed them to.
