* Carrie Underwood hospitalized after fall outside her Nashville Home

We should battle through moods, feelings & emotions into absolute devotion to Christ ~ Oswald Chambers

I had an incredible weekend in Washington DC for Veteran’s Day and the Museum of the Bible Media Grand Opening. If you don’t follow me on social media, make sure you check out my Instagram & Facebook channels (links below) for thoughts about & pictures of my weekend. (I’ll be doing a separate review on my blog soon).

We also spent the morning back at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital for Britton to get his wrist checked out. He hurt his left thumb playing basketball right before I left last week and we were worried he either broke the thumb or re-injured his wrist. Thankfully, x-rays showed the wrist is healing well and, despite blood under the nail and swelling, his thumb is just sprained. Instead of a new cast, he was given a brace that encompasses his thumb that will help with healing over the next couple weeks.
