IN MY LIFE:

I was back at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital for a follow up pediatric sleep study with my son. You never want to see your kids hooked up to a lot of wires. But if it has to happen, I’m so grateful we have Vanderbilt in our backyard.

I also want to thank all of you for supporting us for the Both Hands Vision Project. It was a hot and sweaty weekend, but over 100 of us served 20 different families. I’m beyond grateful.

PRAYER FOCUS: Kindness

If I’ve been reminded of anything these past two days, it’s that we never truly know someone else’s story. As such, we should never assume the role of judge or jury (that’s certainly not the role I want people to take with me). Even if someone is being unkind to you, we never truly know the whole backstory. So today I pray kindness over you and for you, as I hope you will extend the same toward others.
