As part of the Macy’s Style Crew, they asked us to showcase what we’re wearing to May-cy’s Special Occasions. Even though May is over, the need to look cute for celebrations isn’t stopping this summer, so I headed to Macy’s Green Hills in Nashville to peruse everything they had in store.
One thing I’ve noticed, whether you have a graduate or simply want to look fresh this season, a white dress is required, and my local Macy’s had an entire section to choose from.
White Graduation Dress
Many of the white graduation dresses are junior’s dresses, which makes sense, but I found they still fit me perfectly. (Don’t worry, I’ve created an entire section in my Macy’s storefront on Motom if you want any of the details.)
Don’t Forget the Cover-Up
Even if you need a white dress, it makes sense to pick up a complimentary throw, and these are some of the best I found that can also be used with other outfits, especially if you’re traveling.
My top cardigan choices:

- Cropped silver cardigan
- Stretch denim blazer
The Perfect White Special Occasion Dress
My absolute favorite dress was this cut-out midi dress with the 3-D flowers on the straps. It was unique without being ostentatious, and flirty, but modest.
