IN MY LIFE:

We received some devastating news from friends this weekend. What makes it worse is that they don’t live here anymore.

This tragedy came out of nowhere, as most do, and yet our daily tasks still continue. In fact, Sunday was still filled with birthday parties, friends and back to school shopping. While I struggle with the perpetual “Why God?” question, I also trust that the same God who saved me from my sins is the same God in control of this situation.

I don’t know what you’re walking through today, but I pray that you know your story isn’t finished yet. And if you aren’t going through a difficult time today, I praise God with you and hope you can find someone who is struggling to walk alongside.

PRAYER FOCUS: Comfort
As we pray for tangible comfort for our friends going through loss, I pray that God is a source of tangible comfort for each of you today.
