IN MY LIFE:
All of us in the Cone Home have had a busy week. Not only will I be on TV twice tomorrow (watch me on “Talk of the Town” at 11am and “The Sami Cone Show” at 1 PM, both on NewsChannel 5 in Nashville), but the kids started back to school this week.
This seems significant for many reasons, but mostly because it is my daughter’s last year of high school. Because we moved around so much in their childhood, she rarely made it through 2 years at the same school. So the fact that she both started and will end high school at the same place is a milestone.
Sure, there are a lot of emotions surrounding all of it, but we’re taking things one day at a time. And while we look forward to what will come after graduation and beyond, I don’t want to shortchange any single moment we have together this year.
PRAYER FOCUS: Passion
I’ve always been quick to tell people to “Pursue your passion”, but I know that can also intimidate some people because they haven’t discovered their passion. So my prayer for you today is that you discover your passion and share it with the world!
