I don’t care how many times you’ve heard “Let it Go”, you need to hear this Let it Go Live Duet with Idina Menzel & Jennifer Nettles that I captured at the CMA Country Christmas taping in Nashville on November 7, 2014.
Jennifer started out by interviewing Idina, asking her about her upcoming tour and new Christmas album. She then said, “Idina, I have one more question for you…” and started singing the beginning of “Do you want to build a snowman” from the movie Frozen.
The crowd cheered and then Idina stopped her and said, “Since I’m standing here, maybe we should sing the song I know?” Followed by a “Hit it Boys!”
We were literally speechless as they sang. No matter where you’ve heard “Let it Go”, you’ve never heard it like this from these two amazingly powerful female vocalists.
