ALL CAPS: Devotional Day 39
There is a Jimmy Fallon impersonation of Bernie Sanders that always tickles me, in which he says, “I AM SPEAKING IN ALL CAPS.”
Whether speaking or writing in all caps, we know the communicator means BUSINESS.
I can’t remember ever noticing another spot in the Bible when a text was written in ALL CAPS. But if anything should be, it’s this: SET APART AS TO THE LORD, which is what Yahweh Qodes infers. “Holy” in this verse refers to the most holy thing.
If we always used caps, it would minimize its importance and significance. Yet when it’s something rarely seen, we know this is something we should pay attention to.
