IN MY LIFE:
The first week of February, I’m raising money to benefit Open Table of Nashville.
OTN is a non-profit, interfaith community that disrupts cycles of poverty, journeys with the marginalized, and provides education about issues of homelessness.
I will be interviewing the co-founder and author of “PRAYING WITH OUR FEET“, Lindsey Krinks, on the February episode of The Sami Cone Show and would love to present her with a donation at the end of our time together to help their mission of serving the unhoused.
Any donation will help make an impact, but I’m asking if each person would donate just $5. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and my family and is making such a difference in the lives of individuals in Nashville.
PRAYER FOCUS: Integrity
Decades ago when I was on a faculty panel, we determined the most fundamental characteristic we needed to embrace was integrity. It encompasses so many values important to us, not only in academia, but also in life.
Likewise, integrity is a core value of Open Table of Nashville. “We work with integrity by aligning our values and actions and being transparent and accountable to one another and our community.”
