I’m sorry I didn’t get it together to come to you yesterday; this last week of school has been kicking my butt a bit. Throw on top of that an increased workload, meetings and having to pick up a sick kid early from school yesterday, and the Daily Dash was unfortunately the thing that had to give.

Last night I not only had a fun Christmas party with the other women from my church, but I got to watch my daughter create some incredible teacher gifts, including hand-painted personalized mugs and a custom Christmas card design.

As much as I love the routine of work and school, junior high has been tough on my kids this year and I think we all need some time to step back, re-assess and reflect over the holidays. I pray each of you gets to take time to do the same.
