My boys came home on Friday night after a great dad/son trip to the Northwest, but unfortunately they brought some sickness home with them. While we tried to law low this weekend (except for church and flag football), I still ended up getting sick Sunday night.

I made a trip to the doctor this morning to confirm it wasn’t strep, but I’m still experiencing ear pain, hearing loss and equilibrium issues from the shingles, in addition to fighting off a cold. The silver lining to all this is that we’ve finally turned the corner and are experiencing beautiful fall weather here in Nashville. Pair that with an incredible Titans win over the Colts last night, and things are looking up!
