You Spoke, I Listened {Daily Dash: November 15, 2023}

IN MY LIFE:

I don’t know why I haven’t been doing my Daily Dash other than the fact that I’ve been VERY busy. I’ve literally had events, meetings, and interviews every day and night lately.

Sometimes I worry about coming on here and sharing too much. But if I can’t share authentically, I don’t want to come on here at all and just share something mundane. So I do nothing.

This week, three different people said they missed my dashboard videos, so here I am.

I don’t have anything revelatory to tell you, other than I saw a screening of “Maestro” with Bradley Cooper this week and I’m seeing the new Disney film, “Wish” tonight. I filmed my Opryland Christmas special yesterday and had a great event at Kendra Scott last night.

IN THE NEWS:

  • Largest march for Israel happened in Washington D.C. since the start of the war
  • Minnesota asks for help redesigning their state flag
  • Chili’s hires Boyz II Men to re-record their “Baby Back Ribs” jingle
  • National Clean Out Your Fridge Day & National Recycling Day

IN THE WORD:

A wonderful thing about God’s silence is that His stillness is contagious ~ Oswald Chambers

PRAYER FOCUS: Trust

I’m walking through a season where a lot of decisions need to be made. I ask for your prayers and I also pray we learn to trust God in every decision, as well as relearning how to trust our gut and the authority that lives within us thanks to the Holy Spirit.

Turn it back to God and keep your hands open. Don’t be too quick to “farm out” your decision-making. Sit with the decision. Sit with the question. Sit with the feeling.

Stay in the know on the go:
