I’m so excited to be joining forces with a team of bloggers to take part in “The Arm & Hammer Switch & Save Challenge” over the coming months! As you know, I just sang the praises of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda on my recent Talk of the Town segment on Multi-Use Household Items. So when the Arm & Hammer team asked me to test their collection of household and personal care products for their performance and value, I was thrilled to participate!
This month, I received the Arm & Hammer Essentials Fabric Softener Sheets in Lavender & Linen scent to review. For the past year, our family has been very particular about the household products we’ve been using, especially those that come into contact with things touching our children’s skin! So I was very interested to see what these fabric softener sheets were made of.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that these dryer sheets are infused with naturally derived, biodegradable softeners, which is not only great for your laundry, but great for your family!
Not normally one for scented products, I was again intrigued by the Lavender & Linen scent. (What can I say, I’m a sucker for anything purple). I have a low tolerance for fragrance and the product in the box seemed to have a strong perfume. However, I was delighted when I opened the dryer door to find a subdued, clean wisp of air coming my way. (Translation = not at all overwhelming or irritating!).
But this is the kicker – a week after drying my clothes and sheets (and having sat in the closet that length of time), they retained that fresh scent when I went to put them on! I have NEVER experienced that in my life! It actually made me feel like I had accomplished something spectacular when I did the laundry
Needless to say, I’ve been converted. It would be tough to go back to life before Lavender & Linen at this point.
