I’m doing the legwork for you – planning some FREE summer fun for you and the kids in and around Nashville!

From short outings around here…to day trips…to weekend getaways, it’s a summer of fun for you and the family :

Free Summer Fun in Nashville

FREE Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Admission
– Get a Community Counts Passport: Nashville Public Library patrons living in Davidson County can get free admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with their library card.

Next week is CMA Fest!
– free activities all around downtown for 4 days, including free concerts at Ascend Amphitheater

Nashville Public Library Summer Reading Program
– “Reading Rockstar” summer reading challenge at Nashville Public Library for all ages offers a ton of prizes

Barnes & Noble summer reading program
– perks for reading books

“Movies in the Park”
– FREE at Elmington Park various dates in June.

Free Summer Fun in Tennessee

National Trails Day 
– TOMORROW Saturday, June 2,  every Tennessee state park will have guided hikes and/or free programs.

If you’re looking for a getaway, there are fun summer freebies at two of our favorite hotels:

Gaylord Opryland Summerfest
– free weekend events and nightly fountain shows (park for free by Opry Mills)

The Chattanoogan
