So I was presented with a dilemma when I awoke yesterday:

Not only did I have to sit on an ‘expert’ panel to speak about social media to a leadership group, but I then had to stay out all day, conduct online meetings, get the tires changed, pick up the kids, wait for them at gymnastics and of course, go to the store to buy lunches for the next day.

Whew. I’m tired just re-writing it, much less living it!

Always wanting to be a woman who ‘looks the part’ without sacrificing my own personality in my wardrobe, I chose this ensemble:

So, how did I do?

Of course, it rained (as it so often does on the only days I decide to actually do something with my hair), but it also was unseasonably warm for January in Nashville.

Here’s the breakdown:
Loft Jacket found on Twice (an online consignment store – if you decide to check them out, enter enter SAMITWICE20 to receive 20% off your first order)
* Tunic from H&M
* Skinny Cords from Old Navy (the Rock Star cut is the perfect for tucking in boots!)
* Wedge Shoes from Target
* Necklace from Banana Republic Factory Store (one of my FAV places to get affordable yet fun jewelry!)

I’m going to try to keep sharing what outfits I make from my wardrobe that work for working moms…though if you’re a mom, it goes without saying that you WORK!
