After spending almost every evening at home this past week (nearly unheard of for us!), we’re trying to pack as much Christmas magic into the remaining days before the holiday. One thing we did this weekend was to tour the Governor’s residence and look at al the themed trees honoring all who have served our country. Despite the beauty of it all, our kids weren’t exactly enthralled with the event.
While that wasn’t the only cue that this Christmas would be a little different with a teenager, it certainly was symbolic.
