Have you ever seen The Wiggles live?  The Wiggles Tour, “Wiggly Circus”, made a stop in Nashville last night and boy am I glad we were there! This show seriously rocked my world.

Toot Toot Chugga Chugga Big Red Car!

If there was anyone I would have cut slack for phoning in a show, it’s The Wiggles. However, that is so far from what they do! These guys have been singing, dancing and making kids happy for 20 years. Their biggest audience is pre-schoolers, and I’m pretty sure any kid would be happy just to be in the same room with the modern-day Fab 4.  The truth is, I have never seen a group live who has worked harder to entertain a crowd or looked like they were having so much fun doing it!

Fruit Salad, yummy yummy!

Packed with old favorites and current hits, The Wiggles live show is non-stop. They move briskly from song to song while throwing in hilarious side notes that keep the adults laughing too.

Here comes the band!

We’d seen The Wiggles show once before when we lived in Florida, but this one blew it out of the water. “Wiggly Circus” is exactly that, a live circus spectacle with The Wiggles themselves leading the way by walking on their hands, swinging from the trapeze, showing off their parallel bar moves and much, much more. Most of these guys are in their 50’s; I don’t know what workout regime they’re on, but whatever it is, sign me up! They put me to shame!

Perhaps most endearing about the show is the audience involvement. I can’t count the number of times The Wiggles themselves stepped down into the audience and worked their way through the stadium. They collected flowers for Dorothy the Dinosaur & bones for Wags the Dog. They meeted & greeted while singing their way up and down the rows. They encourage interaction and dancing in the aisles.  They read EVERY SINGLE SIGN children made and waved frantically in their direction. “Stand-offish” is not a word in their vocabulary (ok, it may not be a word in any vocabulary, but you get the gist).

Ahoy Captain!

Seriously, I would have done almost anything to get a Wiggles ticket for my little man (I know, I’m frugal and shameless), but thanks to US Family Guide.com, not only were we given tickets for the purpose of reviewing the show, but we had the privilege of sitting in the fourth row on the floor! We could practically feel their sweat…and sweat they did!

The show ended with a bang!

I recognize that live shows are not in everyone’s budget these days. But I can promise you, if you make your way to see The Wiggles live, not a person in your party will be disappointed. Is it too late for me to join the circus?
