healthy-pantry-snacksI know I’ve taken a little break in our pantry solutions for healthy eating plans series, but the journey once again continues this week with: Snacks

This is the longest of all the videos, but so well worth it. I learned more from this segment than any other. In it, Jenni reveals the truth about everything from fruit snacks and candy to peanut butter, nuts & dried fruit.

In our fast-paced society, this may be the single area where people have the most trouble staying healthy. What was most interesting to me was the fact that so many things that I thought I was doing in a healthy way for my family was so far from that. Most notably, was trail mix. You’ll see what I mean in the video, but you’ll definitely want to check out Jenni’s healthy Trail Mix recipe.

These weekly videos will walk you through pantry organization to help you learn what’s hurting your health and replace those with healthy foods to eat! As a reminder, we’re helping you along the road to healthier eating by examining the following pantry items:
Cereal
Breads/Grains
Pasta/Rice
-Condiments
-Canned Goods
Baking Products
-Snacks
-Drinks

Watch our video below to learn what’s really in those “treats” you give your family (and to get a peek inside what used to be our candy drawer!).

Hi Sami!
I was missing these videos :o) Great info as always! It’s amazing how many harmful chemicals and toxins are in our snacks and even in plain view and we just don’t have the knowledge to make better choices…well, that is until now. You and Jenni are doing a great job of sharing the knowledge. Now we just have to do something about it.

Blessings,
Linda
